Proverbs 12:14, Proverbs 18:4, 20-21, Mark11 :23-24
The words which flow from our mouths can do wonders. You shall have what you say; speaks to us clearly, that shaping your world is possible through the word we speak, and this is why it is important to fashion our words carefully. Speaking by faith requires that we believe what we declare, and that what we speak will come to pass. We make confessions with our mouth and believe with our heart, these two go together. Knowing this, let us speak positively and avoid negative thinking and speaking, as these form our world. The same principle is used when praying, accepting salvation, and in our daily living.
If you believe that you are a failure and you speak negatively about yourself, overtime you realize that happenings in your life will begin to take that form. On the other hand, if you speak positively about yourself, you will notice that your life will eventually take a turn-around for the better. Therefore, don’t complain about the difficulties in your life, instead talk about how God is good to you. Encourage yourself aloud, and if you are tempted say any thing negative, say nothing at all. It is better to say something positive than negative; you don’t want to make things worst. Purpose in your heart to monitor your words before you speak. Practice to speak well of yourself and others, you will find that it will gradually become a habit.
