Life is full of unexpected twists and turns. Sometimes, it feels like God is taking His time to answer our prayers. We may find ourselves in situations where we are desperate for a breakthrough, but it seems like God is four days late.
But here’s the truth: God’s timing is perfect.
In the Bible, we find the story of Lazarus, who fell ill and eventually died. His sisters, Mary and Martha, sent word to Jesus, hoping for a miraculous healing. However, Jesus intentionally delayed His arrival, allowing Lazarus to remain in the tomb for four days.
When Jesus finally arrived, Mary and Martha were heartbroken and confused. They couldn’t understand why Jesus had waited so long. But little did they know, God had a greater plan in motion.
Jesus stood before the tomb and commanded Lazarus to come out. Miraculously, Lazarus emerged from the tomb, alive and well. This incredible miracle demonstrated that God’s timing is always perfect.
Just like Mary and Martha, we may not always understand why God delays His response. However, we can take comfort in knowing that He has a purpose for every situation. Sometimes, God’s timing is designed to bring about a greater miracle or to strengthen our faith.
When we feel like God is four days late, we must hold onto our faith and trust in His plan. As the Bible reminds us in Ecclesiastes 3:11, ‘He has made everything beautiful in its time.’ God sees the bigger picture, and His timing will always bring about something beautiful in our lives.
So, when you find yourself waiting on God’s timing, remember the story of Lazarus. Trust that God has a greater plan, and He will always come through at the perfect moment.
