When God Disappoints Your Accusers

Daniel 6:1-22, Proverbs 16:7, 1 Peter 5:8, Roman’s 8:31

The enemy is always going about trying to find accusations against the children of God. He also carries this out in the earth through people and events. It may seem strange, that sometimes others may dislike you for no reason, they may also bring railing accusations against you, and you know deep down in your heart that its not true. These are people who allow themselves to be used by the devil.

Daniel was found to possess an excellent spirit and he was favored by King Darius, however, he was not liked by the other princes and presidents of the Medes and Persians. There was no record of Daniel doing them any harm, yet they were against him. They tried to manipulate the king’s authority to get rid of Daniel, but God shut the mouth of the lions, and he was not harmed. King Darius realized he was tricked into making a decree that would potentially harm Daniel; whom he favored, but God delivered Daniel.

There are times when you will find yourself in situations where you are wrongfully accused, but God has his way to deliver you, and silence your accusers. The best side to be on is God’s side, because you will win. It doesn’t matter how many are they that are against you; God is bigger than them. Take comfort in the fact that our great defender is always with us, and with him we will win. God will disappoint those who wish evil for you.

Prayer

Lord thank you for defending us in times of railing accusations. Thank you for closing the mouths of the lions that seek to devour us. I praise your name Lord; because you did not allow our enemies to triumph over us. Thank for this peace knowing that you are for us,, in Jesus name. Amen.
