Fear No Evil!

Psalm 23: 4, Psalm 91

It has been written countless times in the bible of how God defends, protects, comforts, and walks with His people. So why are we troubled when evil draws near? The Lord is our keeper and he promises to preserve us, this should be our assurance that we are safe in the arms of God. When evil of any form draws near, we should not be afraid because God is with us.

Psalm 91 assures us of the protective shield a father has for his children, and we can put our confidence in the fact that our father is with us. Our God-confidence should put us in a position to be bold in the darkest of times knowing we are never alone. Remember God is still in control, and He has never, and will never lose control.

If you are facing a dark time in your life, rest assured that God will see you through it, and that you will not go under because He is preserving you.

Prayer

Dear Lord, help me to see you in every situation that seems dark and gloomy. Grant me the eyes of faith to see and know that I am an overcomer through Jesus Christ. When evil draws near, I will be still and not fear because you are with me. Thank you for your presence that goes with me. Amen.
